Louise’s new hairstyle…
You may have noticed that our latest pictures show Louise without her flowing locks. Don’t be alarmed, Louise was diagnosed with breast cancer in May of 2025 and has been through surgery and chemotherapy in the last year. Louise is as passionate as ever about what we do and is slowly coming back to work. Louise is determined to use her experience to help others going through surgery achieve better sleep - even on the day of her second operation…
“I was lying on the operating table and the surgeon asked me what I would normally be doing on a Tuesday morning - of course I took the opportunity to tell her about Sleep Rehabilitation! I told her that we needed to do something for people undergoing breast surgery as the advice I had received was sadly lacking. When she came to see me after the op she mentioned Sleep Rehabilitation and agreed to work with us on doing something about it! That made me so happy.”
“Thanks to everyone for the support and good wishes I have received - it has really helped me with my recovery. For those that have been through this, you know how hard it is and how much support matters. Special thanks to those who have shared their own experiences with me - made me feel human and reminded me to be kind to myself and not expect too much too soon.”
